Ukrainian startup has attracted 60 million dollars, among its investors Zuckerberg

Startup People.ai, a platform for the sales department based on artificial intelligence (AI), raised $ 60 million at a valuation of about $ 500 million. Zuckerberg was one of its investors. It is reported by Techcrunch.

Founded a startup Oleg Roginsky. He was born in the Dnieper, recently living in California. He launched a startup in February 2016. People.ai has about 30 specialists working in the Kyiv office. In the near future, the staff will be increased to 100 people.

The main office is in San Francisco.  The latest round of investment in People.ai is led by Iconiq, a venture fund that includes Mark and Scylla Zuckerberg’s family office, as well as previous investors.
The founder says, People.ai’s approach is not to replace vendors, but to “charge” teams with additional data from AI.

So, how does it works? Without requiring active input from the user, the AI captures everything that happens during the day and uses this data to compile cheat sheets for merchants so that they can use them when communicating with customers.
